lace fence.

I don't know much about this lace fence, other than it's a fence that looks lacy. And although I realize that by making such a painfully obvious statement I'm simultaneously shattering my dream of becoming a private investigator in the near future, I don't care.

Besides, I always wanted to be an astronaut.

that's a pretty amazing fence - i really love it! and, gumshoes and astronauts are kind of similar - they sit down a lot while looking for new things in places they really shouldn't. kind of like someone i know ;).

And yes, if all fences looked like that, the world would be a much lovelier place.

That's so pretty -- I love it when there is something so dainty and beautiful in the middle of something so cold and industrial. Very cool. :)

Ok, I feel redundant saying it, but "Wow! This is awesome!" Is it really wire though? Because it sure looks lacy!

I've never seen such a thing. How unusual!

Its by Demakersvan. Isnt it beautiful. They have made other such lace inspired installations. The recent one they are working for is for a public space and huge metal laces are being made in their workshop in India. To see more take a look at Wall Paper mag of a few months ago

Amazing work!
It is a brilliant idea.

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
