insect 54.

I love free inspiration. Love it, love it, love it. Which is why I'm a frequent visitor (read: stalker) of Insect 54's photostream. A graphic design obsession has turned into one of the most well curated collections of typography and layouts from 1954 and beyond.

You'll love it.

My boss has like every issue printed from 1954 to now. I'm looking at them on the shelf behind me as we speak. He's even got this one from 1950 (which if they really started in 1954 I'm not sure how its possible). He's only got up to Graphis354 here in the office but as far as I know the rest are at his house.

Oh how lucky you are to work with such a collector! :)

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
