Hmm, my favorite book? Good question, Phoebe--- there are so many! :)

This sounds weird, but I think my all time favorite book is 'Matilda' from Roald Dahl. I find it quite funny and it returns me to my childhood roots. :)

Ha, I love Roald Dahl. Do you have a favorite art/design book?

Hmm, I have a few, actually. ;) My favorite interior design book is 'Chairs: A History." It sounds odd, but it is REALLY interesting. I keep it on my bedstand b/c it's so gorgeous:

I also love 100 Fashion Designers right here--- it has cuttings from various samples and is great for inspiration!:

AND, just for fun, Kate Spade's Contents book that was released forever ago. It's very design-y [can't track it down online?].

OK, AND [I swear Ill stop soon], I really enjoyed Illustration Play, which was just released. A good one!:

Hope that answers your question! :)

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
