mornings with npr.

Still going through my emails and catching up on the latest so posting may be light today, but I had to stop and post another lovely email I spotted in my inbox this morning! The lovely Brooklyn-based illustrator Alessandra Olanow (who I've posted about before, right here) has started her own blog thanks to the inspiration of many of YOU!

My favorite part? It's not just any ole' blog. Alessandra makes a practice out of listening to NPR every morning and then drawing a quick illustration of her favorite news stories. And now she's posting them for the world to see! As a fellow NPR lover, I'm so excited to see this concept so beautifully executed--- and what better way to get your daily news than through a lovely illustration???

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
