james ulmer.

One of my standard go-to artists for inspiration that is total kookness is James Ulmer. I love his hippie style and the free range that goes with it-- I imagine he truly has fun with the art he creates.

So I decided to write a poem for James, in honor of his fabulous work and years of inspiration. Ready? Ok:

James, oh James Ulmer.
Can I buy you an Arnold Palmer?
Or perhaps some lip balm, er...
Better yet? A lime.

James, oh James Ulmer.
Your work makes me much calmer,
Than any other time.

Good, right? Be ready, Pulitzer.

HA, you are hilarious, my sweet Erinn. ;)

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
