beci orpin.

Based in Melbourne (is today AU day or WHAT?!), Beci Orpin is a mighty, mighty talented gal. I can't really say much else about her, b/c if I know what she's like, I'll want to buy her art.

And Beci Orpin art is NOT cheap, believe me.

But hey-- it's fun to look at, right?

Click here to visit Outre Gallery, where you can purchase Beci's work for $500-something.

Yowza!

The first two are so unique. I love the little girl - she has quite the dress! The Kirby ones you featured below are also pretty fab. Love your blog!

Hey, found your blog via decor8. I don't usually do this, but I just had to say how impressed I am with the beautiful and unique work you've chosen to post about. Not just this post but all! What a great eye for style you have, my dear.

Love the second one, the girl just looks so young and innocent. I think it's the dress that does it.
You're right though, $500...whew!

Oh wow, thank you all for your sweet comments--- you are too kind! I'm so flattered!

I agree, the dress in the second one is awesome. The choice of colours is good too.

I feel like all the new cool artists I've discovered this week are Australian. There must be something in the air!

You notice it, too? This is CRAZINESS!

Will do--- thanks for visiting, dear!

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
