plover organic.

Plover's already made the rounds via Irene and Victoria, but I had to put in my two cents, for what it's worth:

It just hit me that I've been on such an art kick lately (you know, for like eight months) that I've been neglecting my love affair with textiles. It's quite unwarranted, really; I have no idea how to sew. It's much like announcing your adoration for milk when you're lactose intolerant.

Well, I'm lactose intolerant and I love milk.

There, now that that's out of the way, I'm really loving Plover Organics: a Portland-based cotton shoppe dedicated to providing stylish solutions for bedding-loving greenies. Translation: organic cozies. Founders Sheila Mulvihill and Marisa Kula Mercer couldn't believe the lack of bedding options available to consumers who wanted to go green (they're right, too). SO, they decided to create Plover Organics based on what they wanted in their own homes.

And seriously, if they've got THIS in their homes, call U-Haul cause I am MOVIN in.

Click here to shop Plover-- their collection is limited but SO stylish! Love the mix-n-match feel of everything.

Thanks, Christine!

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
