home sweet home: benita larson.
My fave flickr friend Benita (whew! say that three times fast!) was kind enough to give me a sneak peek into her well-dressed and IMMACULATELY organized home. (She's also helping me with the super secret project that is SOON to come to DFM!!!).
Anyway, WOW. Martha Stewart alert. This gal is ridiculously talented, and she should be. She works as a visual merchandiser for over 150 shops. WHOA. I'd love Benita to visually merchandise my home, too!!!
So, in the spirit of brevity, I'll say no more and let the pics (and Benita) do the talking! Get your drool cloth now, kids, you're in for a treat...
"Our fake fireplace... anything to get a mantelpiece. :)"
[Glass collection from son, Wille's, room.]
[Under storage space above. Yes, this gal can make storage out of ANYTHING].
[Kitchen photo above]
[Tiny bathroom photo above]
[Entryway photo above: my favorite!]
"Made the cushions from Muji London and New York hankies. I love maps."
"Cushions fabric from Cath Kidston, Svensk Tenn "Manhattan", one I embroidered last week and a Union Jack tea towel."
Laundry room photo [above].
"The crosses are magnets. Red for band aids and bandages and green for medicine."
Adorable, no? Click here to view more of Benita's painfully perfect home.
Thanks, Benita!!!!!
welcome.
design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.

Clean, uncluttered, colorful and cute. I am in awe that anyone is this clever. Seriously--move over Martha.

I love organization! I also love the map pillows and the combination of the blue and orange pillows on the crisp white sofa against the green wall (same color as my bedroom walls, actually). So fresh!
