who's who: sophie cook.

I'm enamored with Sophie Cook these days. Her ceramics are neutral, soft and light. Absolutely in LOVE.

Sophie Cook graduated in 1997 from Camberwell School of Arts. Her work now sells worldwide and is also featured in permanent museum collections.

I'm sure you can see why.

Ooohh Erin, this is a new find for me! I love Sophie Cook's collection. I must flag her site ASAP. Thanks for the tip. In a way, her work reminds me of "Middle Kingdom" - - - have you heard of them?

Check out the post I did on them after I saw them at NYIGF:

Designflute: Thanks for your sweet compliment!! I love Sophie, too... and you're right. PERFECT lines.

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
