trend alert: wishbone.

It's no secret that the wishbone has been around for decades, starting with the ever-present and fabulous Wishbone Chair. But lately, wishbones have been turning up everywhere else, from paperweights to stocking stuffers and everywhere inbetween.

Here are some of my fave wishbone-inspired pieces:

wishbone bangle bracelet from pretty good goods, $32.

wishbone floor lamp from lamps plus, $159.91.

wishbone chair from danish-design, from $290.

wishbone twig necklace from honeybee's etsy shop, $88.

bag of wishbones from rare device, $10.

I too love the wishbone bracelet! It's like a way more trendy version of the 'love knot' bracelet that I had when I was 12. Genius!

Thanks for your sweet comments, everyone! And Laura: your husband sounds like mine!!! :)

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
