krista stout.

HAPPY MONDAY! It's rainy here in L.A.; my FAVE fave kind of weather. I love to curl up in a blanket in the middle of my living room (which I will post pics of SOON, no worries) and read on rainy days. Which is sad, because there are only like four rainy days in L.A., so trust me... my vocabulary suffers.

Anyway, my second fave thing to do on a rainy day is shop Etsy. I normally don't post Etsy finds, b/c the rest of the blogging world pretty much has this avenue covered, but I couldn't help myself when I found Krista Stout. Krista comes from three generations of letterpress printers, and surprise (!), she has now followed in the fabulous footsteps of her ancestors.

And judging by her work, I can't think of a better vocation for her to have.

Check out her entire collection here, and take advantage of her mix/match letterpress greeting card special while you're at it!

wow. I have a t-shirt with the image of 2 girls drinking from bottles - but had no idea the design belongs to Krista Stout. If it DOES belong to her. My tshirt was made by a company on the west coast of Canada (I think - I bought it about 4 years ago). I would ask her directly but apparently one has to create an account in order to contact sellers on the link you provided!

Boo on having to create accounts to communicate with people!

I second that 'boo'!

And wow, that would make an AWESOME tshirt. A little bit jealous, not gonna lie.

Yay you're from LA?! I had almost concluded finding a fellow LA-blogger that actually posted something decent was hopeless!
I am loving the clouds today too...

YAY FOR RAIN, Pamela!!!

welcome.

because beauty lies in the details of design. in the pencil shavings, in the blueberry waffles. the vintage dress, framed portrait, old postcard.

design is inevitable. celebrated. design for mankind.
