It's true, I'm a closet fan of John Derian. Ok, not really even a closet fan, b/c I own seven of his trays. But honestly? Mr. Derian alone would cause me to sell my L.A. house and move to a shotty NYC apartment, just so I could shop in his Sixth Ave. store.
Love this stuff. Check out his decoupage work here.

You are right , Be close to his shop would be a good reason to move to NYC
Seriously, Melanie!
I just bought my first J.D. tray - a decoupage black and off white whale for my mom - I LOVE it soooo much! I wish I could figure out how to do that myself. The last time I tried to decoupage it was a total disaster.

I want to learn, too! I'll keep my eyes open for a REALLY good tutorial, and then we'll be total decoupage stars.
